Sand racing keeps confirming itself, year after year, as one of the major disciplines of the French Motorcycling Federation. Backed by increasingly strong entry lists and an audience that reaches well beyond the core fanbase, the Championnat de France des Sables Motoblouz has revealed the calendar for its next season: six rounds from the north to the south-west of France.

The season will open on the Opal Coast, in Berck-sur-Mer, where defending champions Todd Kellett and Mathilde Martinez (Bikes), along with Harry Walker and Kelly Verbraeken (Quads), will put their titles on the line.
A record-breaking season behind us
The 2025-2026 season had already set the tone from its opening round in Berck-sur-Mer, with more than 730 riders entered, including 306 in Bikes CFS and 92 in the brand-new Amateurs Trophy. But it was the season finale that really stood out: the 50th anniversary edition of the Enduropale du Touquet in February 2026 drew close to 2,820 riders across five races, more than 700,000 spectators on the coastline, and over 1.2 million TV viewers in France, with broadcast in more than 140 countries.
A new season already aiming higher
Even before the 2026-2027 season gets underway, the championship already counts more than 800 riders registered across all six rounds: 309 in Bikes CFS, 143 in Quads, 106 in the Amateurs Trophy, 103 in Juniors, 40 in Espoirs and 106 in Vintage. Five of the six races are expected to draw 1,000 riders or more. Organisers have also announced a prize fund of €30,000 for the end of the season, up 20% on last year, plus a major new addition: every round will now be filmed and live-streamed, on top of a social media presence that passed 100 million views on TikTok last season.
